THREE YEMENIS WERE SLAUGHTERED FOR KILLING INNOCENT CHILDREN.
Three Yemen men were executed at a public square in the capital of Sana'a on Wednesday.
Ali al-Naami, 40, Abdullah Al-Makhali, 38, and Mohammed Arman, 33, were led to Tahrir Square and shot dead by an executioner.
Al-Naami was convicted of murdering his three daughters Rahaf, seven, Raghad, 12, and Malak, 14, in June 2019. He was placed on a carpet in front of hundreds of spectators in a public square in Sana'a on Wednesday. He had admitted to strangling his daughters and drowning them in a water tank after the mother left the house due to domestic disputes with him. Al-Naami was pictured wearing a blue jumpsuit and being lead to his execution by soldiers before medics prepared him. He was kneeling on the carpet before placing his forehead to the floor. Two medics could be seen holding al-Naami to the floor, with one placing their hand on his shoulder and the other, who was wearing a stethoscope around his neck, holding a pen. After the execution, al-Naami was wrapped in the carpet and soldiers carried him out of the square. Spectators could be seen filming the execution on their mobile phones and video cameras.
Al-Makhali and Arman were convicted of raping and murdering a boy Mohammed al-Haddad before they were shot dead in the public square. Soldiers stood guard and another soldier was pictured placing Al-Makhali at the spot of his execution.Spectators took pictures and filmed on their phones as a police officer executed the pair.Soldiers then wrapped their bodies in white cloths and carried them out of the square.
Capital punishment is a legal punishment in Yemen with capital crimes including violent acts such as murder, rape and terrorism.
