A man walked out on his bride on the wedding day after her family failed to serve mutton in the feast at Sukinda on Wednesday. According to The New Indian Express, the 27-year-old groom, identified as Ramakant Patra, later married another woman of the area before returning home. Patra, a resident of Rebanapalaspal in neighbouring Keonjhar district, reached Bandhagaon village in Sukinda block with baraatis in a procession to marry on Wednesday afternoon.On reaching the venue, they were welcomed by the bride’s family and after necessary rituals, were taken to the dining hall for lunch. Preparations for a wedding in Iraq took a horrific turn after a cook fell into a vat of chicken soup and died from severe burns . 25-year-old Issa Ismail, was making chicken soup for a wedding party on 15 June in Iraq’s northern district of Zakho, when he slipped and fell into the vat, according to several Middle Eastern outlets. It is not uncommon for large vats of soup to be prepared in Middle Eastern weddings, which typically host between 200 to 600 people. Ismail suffered third-degree burns on 70% of his body. He was rushed to a hospital in the nearby city of Dohuk for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries five days later in the local Dohuk Hospital, per a report from local media outlet Al Bawaba . Three Yemen men were executed at a public square in the capital of Sana'a on Wednesday.   Ali al-Naami, 40, Abdullah Al-Makhali, 38, and Mohammed Arman, 33, were led to Tahrir Square and shot dead by an executioner.  Al-Naami was convicted of murdering his three daughters Rahaf, seven, Raghad, 12, and Malak, 14, in June 2019. He was placed on a carpet in front of hundreds of spectators in a public square in Sana'a on Wednesday. He had admitted to strangling his daughters and drowning them in a water tank after the mother left the house due to domestic disputes with him.  Al-Naami was pictured wearing a blue jumpsuit and being lead to his execution by soldiers before medics prepared him. Report has it that 1,833 girls aged 10-19 were impregnated within 90 days in one Uganda Tororo district in Uganda has reported a sudden rise in teenage pregnancy in a period of three months hence threatening to cut short- the pursuit for education amongst girls of school going age, Daily Monitor UG reported on Tuesday June 8. The information was contained in data presented by the district bio-statician, Mr Ali Mugerwa, during a district stakeholder’s dialogue held June 4 by National Association of Women Organisation of Uganda. According to the data, 1,833 girls aged between 10-19 years were reported pregnant within a period of 90 days. A South African woman has given birth to 10 children at a go, breaking the world record that had been created by a Malian woman who welcomed nonuplets a few months ago. Thirty-seven-year-old Gosiame Thamara Sithole gave birth to the decuplets on the night of Monday, June 7; the mother had expected to give birth to eight children as an antenatal scan had shown but two more babies were found during delivery.According to a report by Pretoria News and other news outlets, Thamara delivered her seven boys and three girls through a caesarian section in a Pretoria hospital.She is now a mother of 12 as she already has six-year-old twins. In Nansana Municipality, Uganda, police have arrested 44 people for organizing and attending a traditional same-sex marriage. Luke Owoyesigyire, Spokesperson for the Kampala Metropolitan Police, disclosed this in a statement on Monday, May 31, said police received a tip-off about a group of men suspected to be homosexuals attending a wedding in 780 zones, Ochen ward in Nansana municipality.  “At the same functions gifts were recovered, these included suitcases, a tv, assorted gifts like sugar, salt, pineapples and many other gifts normally given at traditional functions.” he added.  The Kampala police spokesperson said that used and fresh condoms were retrieved at the scene, whereas the suspects did not observe Covid SOPs like social distancing and wearing masks. While the world at large is still battling the viral COVID-19 disease, China again has recorded the first human infection of the H10N3 bird flu strain. This was confirmed in a report on Tuesday morning following the admission of a 41-year-old man to a hospital with fever symptoms in the eastern city of Zhenjiang. Officials did not give details on how the man got infected but the H10N3 strain is thought to not easily spread from humans to humans. The Jiangsu province resident, who was diagnosed last week, has now recovered and is ready to be discharged. We learnt that the index case was confirmed on April 28 and was diagnosed with H10N3 a month later. China’s National Health Commission (NHC), however, revealed in the statement that the “risk of large-scale spread is extremely low.”

This incident happened in India and has been trending worldwide. Women are always perceived as the caregiver and the nurturers. It is a known fact that most women would do almost anything for their children even to a point of sacrificing their lives just to keep their babies safe. Well, this woman in question did absolutely the opposite of what the society deem woman to be. She stabbed her baby girl on the face 90 times because she bite her while breastfeeding. There are many speculations as to why this may have happened but the mother of the child has not yet responded. It is very hard to pinpoint if she was trying to kill her baby girl or just hurting it. One of the speculations is Postpartum depression. Postpartum depression is such a serious issue that happen to women having giving birth when they don't feel any connection towards their children. 

A Kenya lady named Lucy Njeri was captured and charged at the Makadara Law Court for purportedly pouring acid on her partner, whom she said she was not, at this point wedded to. According to the evidence provided in court by the complainant, she claimed that she had lost confidence in her husband a long time earlier and anytime they meet in bed, his thing triggers her extreme pain because it is too large for her and no lady can handle it. At least 32 people died on Friday after two passenger trains collided south of Cairo, the latest in a string of rail crashes in the country. The train collision took place in the southern province of Sohag on Friday, causing some carriages to derail, Egyptian media said. The Health Ministry said that in addition to the 32 killed, 108 others were injured in the crash, with injuries ranging between fractures, wounds and bruises in different body parts. The state-run railway authority said that one of the two trains suddenly stopped after some people tampered with an emergency device on its carriages.

A teacher who had sex with her teenage pupil after grooming him with X-rated photos has been spared jail. Shannon Parsons, 33, slept with the young student at his family home in Gravesham, Kent while his parents were at work, Maidstone Crown Court heard. She had been exchanging "flirty and sexual" messages, as well as intimate photographs with him for several months.  But she waited until he was of legal age before having intercourse with him. Parsons, from Welling, London, told cops she never thought of the teenager as a child, did not love him and it was "purely sexual.'' But she added she knew it was wrong and should have ended it, the court heard.  Parsons pleaded guilty to abuse of a position of trust by causing or inciting sexual activity with a child.
