ICPC explained that the teacher who was on a monthly salary of N76,000 as of the time of her arrest in 2020, had N540 million in her bank account with Guaranty Trust Bank. The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the final forfeiture of N120 million traced to a primary school teacher, Roseline Egbuha, and her accomplices, to the federal government. The Association of Nigeria Aviation Professionals (ANAP), has called on the Federal Government to end the lingering strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) or they will shut down the Aviation sector in solidarity with university teachers. In a statement by the general secretary of ANAP, Comrade Abdulrasaq Saidu, he called on President Mohammadu Buhari to end the strike without further delay. ANAP noted that the continued stay at home by students of tertiary institutions has added to social vices in the country as students now engaged in some unpalatable activities capable of destroying their future. ANAP threatened that they will join in the strike in solidarity by closing the aviation sector if government did not take urgent necessary steps to address ASUU’s demands. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reacted to a suit by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seeking the disqualification of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi from the 2023 presidential election. News  reports that the PDP on Thursday had filed a lawsuit against the  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)  to stop Labour Party’s  Obi and the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu  from selecting Kashim Shettima and Datti Baba-Ahmed as their running mates. The PDP also asked the court to rule that Tinubu and Obi cannot run for office unless they do so with their respective former running mates, Kabiru Masari and Doyin Okupe.
