Anambra State International Passenger and Cargo Airport to start work on 30 April,2021

Anambra State International Passenger and Cargo Airport will receive the flight to land at Anambra International Passenger and Cargo Airport on April 30,2021


A fascinating development that restores hope in political leadership in Anambra,the state that prides itself as "Light of the Nation".

This is a truly international airport with 3.7km runaway and tallest control tower that will serve the international and local air travel needs of Anambra and indeed the entire southeast and beyound.
The Governor of Anambra State,chief willie obiano and his wife chief mrs.ebelechukwu obiano were at the airport on saturday on 17 April, 2021 on inspection

They accompanied by members of Anambra State Traditional rurals council who wanted to confirm what they had been hearing in media.

Okija, Anambra-born businessman Dr.Enerst obiejesi(obijackson) was also at the airport and landed in the brand new airport tarmac in his helicopter.

SOUTH EAST GOVERNORS WILL APPROVE MAY 30 AS BIAFRA DAY – DAVE UMAHI

Following the sit-at-home ordered by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) to commemorate the 54th anniversary of the declaration of the Sovereign State of Biafra, South East Governors’ Forum Chairman, Dave Umahi, has said May 30 would be set aside as a day to remember millions of Igbo that lost their lives during the civil war. Governor Umahi of Ebonyi State, who stated this during a television interview, yesterday, said there was the need to set aside a date to honour the Igbo who died during the three-year war, insisting there was nothing wrong with it. He said if a proposal to do so comes before the South East governors, they would give it consideration.
